THE STORY SO FAR...
The 2015 Ilkley Film Festival was a huge success as we screened 27 events to over 4600 people, an increase of 1400 people compared to last year.
The programme highlights included the return of British Sea Power playing live to ‘Man of Aran’, Asian Dub Foundation playing live to ‘La Haine’ and Elaine Constantine discussing her brilliant first feature, Northern Soul. We screened BAFTA and Oscar winners including The Theory of Everything, The Imitation Game, Whiplash and Boyhood along with the regional premiere of The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. We are now pushing on with our year round programme of events with some of the dates confirmed as the 24th May, 26th September and the 29th November with more to follow shortly; we've got
some great events lined up and can't wait to share them with you. The 2016 festival is also confirmed to take place during the 17th – 21st February 2016.
